By using any of Aoi Bot's commands or adding it to your Discord server, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old to use Aoi Bot, following Discord's Terms of Service.

Users are responsible for their use of Aoi Bot. The bot must not be used for anything that violates Discord's Terms of Service or applicable laws. Prohibited uses include:

• Sexually explicit content that is illegal, exploitative, or excessively graphic
• Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of other users
• Spam or excessive command usage
• Content that is harmful, illegal, or promotes violence/self-harm
• Attempts to exploit, manipulate, or disrupt the bot
• Using the bot to distribute malware, scams, or phishing attempts

To maintain optimal performance, Aoi Bot implements the following limits:

Excessive abuse may result in temporary or permanent restrictions.

Aoi Bot collects minimal data necessary for functionality. The following information is stored:

• Server Configuration: Deleted when Aoi Bot leaves the server
• Marriage Data: Deleted when either partner leaves the server, divorce command is used, or bot leaves server
• User Reminders: Deleted when reminder expires or is manually removed
• Activity Logs: Retained in Discord channels indefinitely, unless Aoi was to shut down
• Error Logs: Deleted once the corresponding issue is resolved

Aoi Bot's code, features, and functionality are protected intellectual property. Users are granted a limited license to use the bot in accordance with these terms but may not copy, reverse engineer, or create derivative works.

Aoi Bot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. No guarantee is made regarding uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use is at your own risk.

Violations of these terms may result in:

• Blacklist: Blocked from using Aoi and its features. Can be appealed
• Permanent Blacklist: Blocked from using Aoi and its features and banned from the Discord Support Server. Cannot be appealed

When these terms are updated:

• The next command use will display an update notification embed
• Users must re-agree to terms via button interaction to continue using commands
• Major changes will be announced in the Discord Support Server

Reasonable security measures are implemented to protect stored data. In the event of a data breach:

• Announcements will be made in the Discord Support Server
• Given the non-sensitive nature of stored data, individual notifications are not required
• Joining the Discord Support Server is recommended to stay up-to-date

Users have the right to:

• Data Deletion: Remove marriage data via divorce command or request complete data removal
• Data Access: Request information about stored personal data
• Data Portability: Receive data in a readable format upon request
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data where applicable

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Users agree to indemnify the bot operator against claims arising from their use of the service.

Aoi Bot does not collect:

• Message content (except direct commands)
• Personal identifying information (email, real names, addresses)
• Sensitive personal data
• Financial information
• Data unnecessary for bot functionality

Data collection is limited to operational necessities:

• Discord Identifiers: User, server, and channel IDs for feature functionality
• Configuration Data: Server settings, user preferences, and feature configurations
• Usage Logs: Command usage and server activity for debugging and security
• Temporary Data: Reminders and time-based features

Collected data is used exclusively for:

• Providing bot functionality and features
• Debugging technical issues and improving performance
• Security monitoring and abuse prevention
• Legal compliance when required by law

Data is not sold, traded, or shared with third parties except when:

• Required by legal process or court order
• Necessary to prevent harm or protect user safety
• Required for technical support from Discord or hosting providers

Aoi Bot does not knowingly collect data from users under 13 years old. If such collection is discovered, the data will be promptly deleted.
